What the Christian World Isn't telling You

Homosexual healing transforms a man so that the underlying origins of homosexual temptations are constantly decreased. A man can go his entire life accessing the forgiveness of God but still keep himself in a weakened place if he doesn’t do the hard work it takes to heal the psychological and emotional causes of homosexuality.

To help a man find a relationship with God is certainly the eternal priority. However, to tell him he will heal himself from homosexual temptation and tendencies only through faith, prayer and service, (as some ex-gay programs espouse), then is it any wonder the homosexual struggler will continue to struggle year after year while the underlying issues are not resolved? Is it any wonder that these men experience a constant cycle of the build-up of homosexual feelings until they act out, then continue to feel horrible when asking for forgiveness, only to let the feelings build up again? Actually, this kind of reaction involves toxic shame, and is, in my opinion, very hard for many Christians to overcome.

In fact, is it not a great spiritual work to resolve the underlying emotional issues that lead to homosexuality?

So what exactly are the underlying issues, which if resolved can lead to a change in sexual orientation? See The Manly Experience

I first want to say that I deeply respect what many Christians are trying to do….to be a part of the message of God that heals the world. However, how can we not address spiritual messages given to men which sometimes ironically keep them in a state of spiritual weakness? With these things in mind, I invite you to consider the following article.

Spiritual healing does not necessarily heal homosexuality.

Almost sounds anti-Christian doesn’t it? Let’s look deeper into this issue and talk about the difference between spiritual healing and being healed from homosexuality.

  1. When a person undergoes a Christian spiritual conversion, he is forgiven for his wrongs and starts on a path that is representative of his change of heart, mind, and spirit. He lives his life spiritually, being freed and healed from the consequences of his sins.
  2. When a man experiences homosexual healing, he experiences a psychological/emotional change which makes it possible for him to experience a decrease in or dissipation of homosexual attractions. He learns how to remove those blocks which prevent him from growing into his own sense of manhood.
In short, faith in God removes the consequences of sin and represents a new path.
